Melrose Pear Juice Concentrate is produced in Australia by extracting the juice from sound, mature fruits. The juice is then pasteurised and evaporated under vacuum.

Concentrating the juice by evaporation retains the natural sugars and minerals. There are no preservatives, artificial flavours, colours or sweeteners added. Concentrated apple and pear juices contain approximately 72% natural sugars.

As a diabetic you must monitor sugar intake and Melrose juice concentrates are made from fruit which are fructose rich. Fructose is a sugar and will raise blood sugar levels.

Does it need refrigeration?

These juices do darken over time but their sweetness does not alter. The natural sugars are self preserving so it is not necessary to refrigerate after opening.
