Organic Hi Fibre Banana Smoothie
This is a really quick and easy hi fibre way to start the day or it can be a great snack replacement for afternoon tea, as it will keep you feeling full for longer
Ingredients
200ml Organic Milk (or you can substitute with Soy or Rice Milk etc ),
1 extra ripe Organic banana
1tbsp Melrose Organic Golden Flaxmeal
Method
In a blender or milkshake maker, combine the Organic Milk (or Soy or Rice etc milk), organic banana, and Melrose Organic Golden Flaxmeal
Mix on high until light and frothy
For a refreshing variation, substitute 1/ 2the banana with fresh or frozen organic strawberries or other seasonal organic fruit
Optional: sweeten with Melrose Organic Apple Juice Concentrate, honey or Shady Farms Maple Syrup to taste
Hint: For an ice cool smoothie, peel the ripe banana beforehand and place in an airtight container in the freezer
