Heidi Thornton's Banana Blueberry Green Smoothie
Makes 1 large Smoothie
Green Smoothies made with leafy greens are all the rage right now, and I can see why. Drinking so much goodness makes you really feel energised. The ingredients in this Smoothie, such as the Spinach, Blueberries and Melrose Essential Greens will provide you with a mega hit of Vitamins and Minerals, plus a bunch of antioxidants to help keep your body fighting and glowing. Enjoy this Banana Blueberry Green Smoothie as a substantial afternoon or post work-out snack. You could even add in ¼ cup Rolled Oats to the mix to make a refreshing, nutritious breakfast!
Ingredients
- 1 big handful raw Baby Spinach Leaves
- 1 teaspoon Melrose Essential Greens
- ½ cup Skim Milk
- 2 tablespoons Low-Fat Vanilla Yoghurt
- 1 ½ cups Frozen Blueberries
- 1 small ripe Banana
Method
Pop all your ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Add a little more milk if you like a runnier Smoothie. Drink and enjoy!
