By Michelle Beever

INGREDIENTS

3 eggs

1/2 cup pecans

1 small chopped onion

1 tbs. white soya miso

1 cup low fat cottage cheese

1 cup rolled oats

3 sheets puffed pastry

2 tbs Melrose ABC Nut Spread

METHOD

Place eggs, pecans, onion, miso, ABC spread and cottage cheese into a blender and process until fine.

Transfer mixture into a large bowl and mix in oats.

Cut pastry sheets in half.

Divide mixture into six even portions and spoon down one edge of each half sheet.

Brush other edge with soya milkor cows milk this glues the sheets together after rolling.

Roll to enclose filling with pastry.

Cut each log into six lengths and brush with remaining milk and prick with fork in each little segment.

Bake in a hot oven 200 deg for 15 - 20 min or until golden.

Makes about 36 party rolls

The key to this recipe is if you have ever made the conventional sausage rolls the recipe is easier.
